Our FAVORITE Aloe Vera Baby Soap Recipe
What’s better than a clean, happy baby? A clean, happy baby that hasn’t encountered any phthalates, parabens, or other nasty ingredients that could do her harm. Finding high quality soaps and shampoos for babies is extremely difficult, especially if you’re working with a limited budget. Our aloe vera baby soap recipe is designed to give your baby’s skin the gentle cleaning it needs without costing you an arm and a leg.
Aloe Vera Baby Soap Recipe
To make a gentle, effective soap for you little one, mix the following ingredients:
- ¼ cup liquid castile soap – baby mild
- ½ cup distilled water
- 1 tablespoon pure aloe vera gel
- 2 tablespoons of almond oil
- Optional – 8 drops of essential oil
Mix all of these ingredients together in a 12 ounce container. An empty foaming soap dispenser will work perfectly if you have one. If not, any squeeze bottle will do. During bath time, gently massage the soap into your baby’s skin, then wash away. Her skin will be clean, soft, and moisturized. If you notice any slipperiness left in the tub once her bath is over, wipe it away and use a little less oil in your next batch.
Aloe Vera and Your Baby
Aloe vera is a wonderfully mild and natural way to soothe and heal your baby’s skin. We love using our All Natural Aloe Vera Gel to help soothe away diaper rash and mild eczema. Simply apply a small amount to the affected area when doing a diaper change. Make sure to let it dry completely before putting a new diaper on.
